"Take me out to the ball game..."

A couple weeks ago Jimmy and I joined his YSA group in his ward to a Diamondback's game. At first I was worried because I didn't know any of them and anyone that knows me, knows that I am very shy and do not do well in those situations lol.

We met at the leader's home and caravaned over to the light rail station to head into Phoenix. The light rail has been running for most of the year and I had yet to ride it so I was excited for that. We got our tickets and headed to the train. We all talked and laughed the whole way there...about half an hour...and divvied up the tickets.

Jimmy and I got our own row within the ticket range because some people didn't make it. He was excited for this because a few of the people that were there he didnt really want to sit next to for 3 hours.

On the way into the park they were giving out free Diamondbacks visors. Jimmy and I had stopped and picked up a D-backs shirt for me and a hat for him, so these were kind of pointless but we took them anyway as our little souvenior from the night :)

We got to the park and headed in to where our seats were....allllllll the way to the top. $5 seats are netter than nothin right ? haha They played against the Pittsburg Pirates, which honestly meant nothing to me lol but it was something to do and it ended being a fun night.

The d-backs won that night...7 to something haha...can you tell i am not the world's biggest sports fan?? ;)

Jimmy works for a company that has season tickets, four rows behind home plate so i told him that the next game we go to MUST be in those seats...then maybe we might be able to SEE the game lol

The whole experience was fun and worth it, i met a lot of new people that had heard all about me ;)
