So Bad!

I am so bad at this blogging thing...I wait FOREVER and then write a bunch! And then wait FOREVER again to write anymore. I think its because I have this mindset that I can't post something without a picture. But really....that's not true haha. So here is a little update in the life of ME!

School is stressful! The semester is almost over and I think I am failing my math class :(. Note to self: DO NOT TAKE MATH ONLINE;EVER AGAIN! haha Hopefully I can make it at least a C but who knows...math is not my strength. Looking past that, I am loving my major(Elementray Education) and the opportunity I had this semester to work with the class of third graders that I have grown to love in just 10 weeks :). If you didn't already know, I have been doing my "field experience hours" at Whitman Elementary with Mr. Thorson. He has been teaching there since before I was going there in 1993! Haha! He is a great teacher though and is helping me learn alot about my teaching styles by letting me do one on one activities with his students. It has been alot of fun and on Wednesday this week when I realized I am almost done with it, I got sad :( I will miss it alot!

Work is work....haha. I am working for a company called Horizon Technologies in Tempe as their "Customer Service Receptionist" lol I like to put a title on it...makes me feel more important! :P
I can't really complain about it because they have been AWESOME working with me and my school schedule and allowing me to take some time off for my field experience hours. I keep telling myself that I should find something that is closer to home and maybe more in my field of studies..and then I think about how much they have been working with me and doubt that I could get it better anywhere else...so I push that thought away haha.

As far as my hospital scare goes, everything is going good. It was a long 5 weeks of being unbelievably tired and fed up with my body haha. But I had a last followup appointment this last Monday and everything was in the green! YAY! My doctor told me that I just need to keep up on my medications (I guess once you pop, the fun doesnt stop eh? haha jk.) and my diet :/. She said from now on she just wants to see me every six months for regular visits. So YAY! The worst is past! Well except for the stack of bills I get to go home to everyday :/. Haha. But seriously, thanks again to everyone's prayers and thoughts to get me better! It definitly helped!

Lola is getting big! Or at least that's what people keep telling me haha. I see her everyday so I don't notice the change in her as much. Inevitably though, she is losing her cute puppy hair :(. Its sad and I joke that she looks like a cancer dog haha. Her neck hair is all wispy and rough but her hind hair is still tight and curly lol. I guess it will even out soon but in the mean time she just gets to look odd I guess. Her favorite thing is still to bite on fingers and toes. She loves my dad more than anything! She can hear him opening the door or walking down the hall and she will perch herself on the top of the couch and wag her tail all crazy like until he picks her up and loves on her. haha. Some people are afraid of my dad but honestly, just hand him a puppy and he will be your best friend! haha He loves the attention from Lola and I swear looks forward to coming home, if for nothing else, then for her to lick his face haha. She is a good dog and gets better and better with the whole potty training thing everyday.

Let's see what else is going on in my life? hmm....Unfortunatley I am still single :( sad sad sad! A couple prospects in my eye but no action is being taken yet so we will see what happens....maybe at Christmas there will be some more news about that haha. Other than that, not much is going on. Just trying to juggle school, work, and a social life...not to easy, but managable! haha I promise I wont wait so long to put more up about me...We took(well are in the process of taking) family pictures so I will post those up next. Don't worry, if you are confused about the ( ), it will all make sense when I post them haha!
